I found this painting 2 summers ago at a yard sale for $5.00 near Plattsburgh NY. The name on the bottom of the painting says Gladys George and i wanted to know if the Gladys George that painted this painting is the same Gladys that pops up when i search the name. all Ive been able to find out is information about an actress (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladys_George ) on the back of the frame is says 'G. George 399-0478' theres no area code if its a phone number. it measures 24 inches in height (up and down) and 18 inches across. (left to right) I wanted to know if this is a painting by the actress and if so, for insurance, id want to know how much its worth.
Last summer i had purchased at a tag sale in Plattsburgh, NY (I believe for 75 cents) this Hattie Carnegie Necklace. I havent been able to find any information on this particular necklace, all the jewelry of hers ive seen online arnt even close to this necklace. (and honestly, all I know about the designer is what i read on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hattie_Carnegie) The Necklace is 29 inches long with 26 clear teardrop beads (not sure what the material is, but boy do they sparkle, they start smaller by the clasp and get larger in the middle and than go smaller again) and those 26 beads alternate with 25 globe shaped beads with stones that sparkle like diamonds but arnt. (they start small like the other beads and get larger and than smaller agian.) I want to know when this necklace dates back to and what its worth.

My grandpa bought this waffle maker at a garage sale for $3.00. It acually works. It has a somewhat rounded top and the base has cutouts for a designed base.
It is an Antique plate that I inheirrated from my grandmother that she inheiratted also. It is a white plate but the pattern of the ship and the flowers around the edge of the plate are all in that old blue color.
