Pink luster glass on outside, white on inside. Squiggly lines of brownish-green luster around top. I can not see any mark on this vase. It looks like some examples of Loetz I have seen. There are no cracks or defects.
Mint condition vase sky blue color with fishnet pattern in white in glass. Marked CZECHOLOVAHIA on bottom, the S is missing or worn off(?). Tope fans out. Appears to be hand blown.
Don't really know much about it except that it was given to my grandmother by another grandmother and it was then given to me. I have had it for 35 years. And I am wanting to know if it is worth anything. Or if it has any history.
I believe my dad picked this up at an estate sale or auction for his store. The finish was badly scratched up though the piece itself was in very good shape. After much debate (he stripped and re-finished furniture as part of his shop) we DID refinish it (sorry) though we tried to keep it as accurate as possible. It has been used and loved and gone through several moves since then.
I really SHOULD sell it - lack of space and I could really use the money after a two year stint unemployed and not a great job now - but I hadt to let it go.
I DO have documentation from Drexel that this piece / line was only manufactured from 1956 - 1957 and probably sold for around $150 new at that time.
my mother gave this to me. i know i used it as a child along with at least 100 other kids because she babysat. im not sure but i think it was hers as a child. it is a high chair but its also a potty chair and can be turned into a walker or stroller when folded. it has wheels on the back of it.i havnt tried folding it to see exactly. i do remember we would fold it as a child but i dont remember how. i dont want to sell it but just wondered how old it is or who made it. ive tried to find out something about it but havnt found anything like it. any info you could give me will be appreciated. thank you
