The desk has a feature where the top has hinges and can close the desk. The writing surface is able to pull out to 2 feet. The hinges are brass, The drawer pulls are of the same wood as the desk. Each drawer (2)is 7 inches square. The windsor chair is in excellant condition.

Plain silver with double lines engraved on front of handle. On the back of the handle there is an engraving of a lion then a capital B, and a head and top of shoulders engraved, but no facial features. Then the initials of GB engraved inside of a box figure.
