this is a whistle that is a crowned lion and has 4 bells attached to the feet and one to the neck. there is a lion face piece in the middle of the chain and bells attached to the chain as well. It was presented to my mom as a nannies whistle from France but I found an article describing it as a Spanish amulet. The article is by WL Hildburgh and was published in a magazine called folklore volume 24 in 1913. I will include some pictures below.
These beautiful little saucers/plates are very delicate, floral patterns in pastel colors. Pink, lilac, yellow, mint green, and peach. Gold accents. Has the mark of Martial Redon. No chips, cracks, or discolorations. They appear to be hand painted.
No matching butter knife. One knife rest is slightly bent in. Silverplate in good condition. No stamp but I once saw an identical piece that described as a "Reed and Barton, late 1800's". MEcahnical lid rolls well.
Green, shaped like the state. The top is cork and has the 13 colony flag on one side of top and Mississippi flag on other side. The bottle itself had road map painted on it with pictures of different Mississippi landmarks. And on the bottom the word"Mississippi" and the bicentennial years. Other side has pictures of magnolia, cotton bale, state bird and deer heads. Decanter is empty
