Large antique hardwood armoire dresser.

Kidney desk has been in the family for many years. unfortunately we do not have any information any longer about the desk, only believed to be possibly French and from the 1800's. We do not see any markings as to a maker.

Hi, came across this. no idea what it is....

I have an old ROYAL black typewriter from the 1930s. It has ROYAL written on the front and underneath Built In The British Empire.

I have seen images of similar typewriters that have the word ROYAL but none of them has Built In The British Empire.

Can someone provide me with more information.

This piece is from Crawford Furniture in Jamestown NY dated 1853. It has 4 small drawer (two on each side of the dresser) 2 long slim drawers (in the middle of dresser) and 4 large drawers at the bottom. The feet on the dresser are square on the outside but has some type of arch on the inside of it. The handles and nobs are brass.
