I can't find any images or information about this anywhere on the internet. It looks like it was done on really thin bamboo and looks like it was brushed on by hand, but I'm just guessing. I just want to know more about it. It has a small red seal in the upper right corner along with a signiture of some sort. Seems to be in a plain wooden frame.
I bought this bells at the Swap Meet the other days. On one side of the bells label 1811 and the other side label "Mejico" it look super old. I don't exactly know what material that is, it look like copper. Can you guys help me analyze this bell and see how much it worth? Thank You so much.
This is a teak chest on large wooden wheels. The locks and corner pieces are missing but the end handles are in place. I was told it was from the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia), probably from the island of Madura. The hinges in the photo are obviously not original but I have had strap hinges made by a metalsmith to fit the original dados.
