12 " vases with Pinkie and Blueboy. Gold handles. Unable to find anything like this on the Internet. No potter mark but does have signatures on them-Lawrence and Gainsbough with "Mulder&loon under each signature.
I obtained this over ten yearsago. I was told it was bought overseas many years before that. It is metal and the inside looks to be silver but there are no markings. There are 10 gems embedded on each side. Long looks to be brass chain 13 inch in length. There looks to be a 1/4 inch brass band around the entire item to bring both sides together. Weight is 7 oz..
Looks to be handmade and very ornate.Reminds me of those containers that in asia would be used for incense and swing around, but there is no opening except for the top which does close tightly. Could be some sort of brass on the outside but the inside is definately silver color with soldering or weld points along the inside seams. The top is hinged. Someone told me this could be a "snuff container". Looking forward to selling this but do not know what to call it or describe it properly in the ad. Hoping it worth lots of money but I have not won the lottery yet and this also is probably a long shot :-)
Please feel free to ask any questions that might help you identify this item.
By the way, there is no smell on the inside from liquor or drugs. Not that I know what drugs would smell like on the inside :-)
This rocking chair has been in the family since 1914. The back and seat were formed out of one curved piece of wood. It is stamped with "Wisconsin Chair Company" under the seat. It appears that it has never been restored because of the natural wear on the arm rests. It is a very solid piece with no major cracks in the wood.
This is a 1.5" round hand held marble game. The game features an aferican american women that is missing front teeth and you have to move around the marbles to fill her teeth. One by one until the 5 marbles are placed in a row to reveal her smile. This Antique coin size hand held marble game is made of soft metal with a hard plastic clear window. It is made by "Schultz and Co" I would like to know the value of this thing and maybe a little history
I found two Lecot plates at an estate sale. Both have the Lecot hallmark in gold on back. They are obviously handpainted as you can see the stroke marks. One depicts "Gainsborough" Mulder & Loon and the other "Lawrence" Mulder & Loon, both also say Amsterdam Holland under the titles and Mulder & Loon on bottom of paintings. Plates are slightly over 10". I cannot find these plates anywhere on internet. What is their possible worth?
