I have a Limoges decorative cobalt blue plate, with gold trimmings and a greek (Roman?) dinner scene depicted on it. It is the size of a dinner plate.

On the back, it only says Limoges, in capital letters.

Visalia Stock Saddle Co. Fringed Buckskin Riding Skirt

Category
Vintage Textiles and Clothing
Condition
Excellent
Description

Fringed buckskin suede riding skirt (spilt skirt) with two metal Talon zippers (with Talon engraved ball chain pulls) and patch pockets.  Manufactured by Visalia Stock Saddle Co., San Francisco. "San Francisco" on the label indicates manufacture prior to 1950.

Condition is excellent with expected signs of age and light wear.

The Visalia Stock Saddle Co. has been called "arguably the most illustrious and historic saddlery in California".  The company started up in Visalia, CA in 1870 and moved to San Francisco in 1887.  In 1950 the company was moved to Sacramento.  They are currently located in Morro Bay, CA.

Two Oriental Vases

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

These vases were bought at an auction by my husband's grandparents in the early 1920"s I believe.  They stand about 10 inches high.  Colours are varied with cobalt blue and what looks to be hand painted figures on both vases.  The details and paint on the one vase are raised and flat on the other.  There is a lot of gold paint used on both vases.  The markings on the bottom of both vases are fairly simple as per the attached photos.

I was going to put them in an auction but have no idea about their origin or what they are worth.  If you could provide any information on them it would be appreciated.

Thanks

No knowledge of antiques myself and wonder if this has any value at all.

Curious as to whether it is antique or a modern recreation
