Vintage Art Deco circa 1920-30 Reverse Painted Glass & Metal framed round serving tray made in Western Germany. Red roses design, green leaves and gold accents. Hole in back so it can also be hung on the wall.
We acquired an OLD Brandt secretary or escritoire writing desk. We would like to know the age & value for possible sell.
In fair to good condition cosmetically with some of the veneer peeling or missing, pitted & scratched up. Otherwise, GREAT condition structurally.
Top part has sliding pocket doors. Behind the pocket doors are slots and 2 small drawers. Writing desk is hinged and folds down. There are wooden supports that are hidden/pocketed on each side of the top drawer that pull out to support the fold down writing desk. Then there are two drawers under the writing desk. The legs are sleek and tapered to the bottom, where there is a small caster at the end of each leg. One pull is missing from the bottom drawer and one of the hidden slide supports.
I've had this mirror for 34 years, it belonged to my husband's aunt before that. I was told back in 1980 that it was an antique and worth $500, not sure the person that told me knew anything about antiques. I don't know what the mirror is made of, the only markings on the back are a small tag which I photographed, I would like to get rid of this mirror but don't know what to ask for it, hopefully you can help me out.
