I am not sure about this painting. When I went on line to check it out the picture on line is a little different. The one I have apprears to be a close-up. It has been in our family for almost 50 years or more.
multiple leather bound record collections from 1903-1908, in original paper sleeves and most appear to have never been used. very heavy doesn't feel like vinyl
I don't know much about the painting and did a little research online about the artist Paul de Longpre. I assumed the painting is a watercolor. It is yellow and purple pansies in a vase. It has a gilt frame with a few tiny chips only noticeable when you look closely. It is signed at the right lower bottom of painting. There are two sets of numbers written on the back with pencil A105557 & 1290.There is a little tear on the paper covering the back. The painting is in excellent condition.
I need to know if the painting is authentic and how much its worth.
