picture is an oil painting of a street scene with snow on the ground and a horse drawn carriage and people walking. it appears that they are dressed in european type clothing.

This is a painting given to me by my mother. She also recieved this as a gift 20 years ago. I know nothing about the painting. The only identifying mark on it is the signature . It reads Maynard. Any help will be Greatly appreciated.

Book was a friends father who has passed. Book is from the Secretary Of Defense

i receive this repair kit from my mother.  her father used it to repair the family's shoes. it includes the upright stand and 4 size shoe molds

I am trying to find out more about this tea set.   No people are in any of the designs, just a variety of birds.  Pictures show the mark and the set and detail of a plate.   Lots of gold and it does have the finely crackled glaze of Satsuma.

Any help?  Can some one read the characters in the mark?
