Two Paintings by AWarner 08, not sure what era, what the value or name of the pieces are- so I am asking for your professional opinion of value and information.
I am not looking for a true 100% value- I am looking for what my LOW number should be - since I can't find this AWARNER anywhere ?? Or could you give me advice on who this A WARNER is? Is it Drew Warner? John Warner?
An all steel roll top desk in excellent working condition with:
Brass drawer handles, feet, front edges of the top and side pull outs and other hardware
60"w x 34"d x 42"h.
Adjustable drawer dividers with a pencil tray in the center drawer
Rubber or linoleum writing surface
Drawers and compartments in upper section above writing surface
Drawers lock when roll top is down and top can be locked
Original yale lock and key
The original finish was woodgrain. This desk is extremely heavy. Lifting off the just the top cap piece 12" x 60" is a two-man job. I believe it was made by the ArtMetal Construction Co. in Jamestown, NY, in the early 1900's. When I bought it, I was told that it came from the Great Northern Railroad offices.
