Birds in Tree Oil Painting by "Carlson"

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

Hello,

I found this painting at a thrift store. Paid 29$. It appears to be an oil painting, its on canvas. Its quite large - about 3x 4 feet. The signature says "Carlson". I have looked online but havent had much luck. I did find another painting online that had the same signature and similar style painting that was of a boat on the ocean (http://www.rubylane.com/item/489855-347/Carlson-signed-Oil-Canvas-Boat). I also found a listing on this website with the same painting (http://www.instappraisal.com/antique-appraisal/birds-perching-tree-branches) . Does anyone know more about the artist and/or painting? Thanks for your help. I really love this painting.

Kimmy

Brass and Porcelain Standing Lamp

Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

The lamp is mainly brass and has a few porcelain parts on it. on the porcelain parts there are gold spots on it. i couldnt find any brands or labels on the lamp, but i found on the bottom of the lamp base "-A-95-" that was all i could find. if you could tell me the brand of this lamp and what this could sell for that would be great. or anything else about it. still works great and has 3 different brightnesses. Overall in good condition.i recieved this lamp from an old pastor and there was a couple more like it that other people had recieved. Thanks
