Harper's Weekly Civil War Era

Category
Books and Manuscripts
Condition
Good
Description

I have a collection of 108 re-issues of Harper's Weekly newspapers. The collection ranges from Dec 19, 1860 to Jun 24, 1865. This not a complete collection. There are 106 volumes missing from that range, mostly from 1864. In fact, I don't even have any from 1864. Would I be better off selling this as a collection or each volume seperately?

European daybed

Category
European Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

This solid oak daybed was in our basement for 20 yrs. I have no info about it whatsoever. I just recently had it restored. The wood refinished, the stuffing replaced, the springs retied and the canvas was replaced with marine grade Naugahyde . It had been covered in painted canvas, and was stuffed with a moss type stuffing. It originally had more buttons (tufting), but I had less because of the expense. The old polish upholsterer and the refinished both believed it to be late century European. I would like an accurate description as much, or moreso, than the value of it. Thank you for any assistance you can offer me.

I would like to know if this is a Chippendale Reproduction.  It belonged to my late husband, who inheireted it from a client in Montana approximately 20 yrs ago.

The desk is 6' long,  34" wide and 31" Height.    On the front left corner top of leg there is a piece that has come loose.   It is visiable in first picture.

Ming vase??? Is it real or fake?

Category
China
Condition
Good
Description

This vase was recently inherited, it was my moms uncles. He passed away in 1985 so it was acquired before that. He spent time all over the world. It looks Chinese to me but I am by no means an expert any help would be appreciated.

The vase is a white tan color with blue paint. The inside of the pot has grooves toward the top and has some brown coloring. Someone put green felt on the bottom. That's about all I know about it.

Vintage table and chairs

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

An old table and chairs that I have absolutely no clue where it comes from and how old it is. It was given to me by someone that it was given to as well and I'm trying to find out what's it worth if it's worth anything at all. The only thing I know is that it has been refinished. There are no stamps on the table nor on the 6 chairs.
