Description
The guy I bought it from gets his stuff in the general auctions, where he picks up antiques. This vase was on his stall for a year before I noticed it and bought, as in that part of the town hardly anyone would notice Arabic date marks.
Condition is very good, it has no losses or damages and it is covered with a thick brown patina. Some corrosion and rust droplets inside. Pure copper, handbeaten. Bottom square stand seems to be tin-soldered as in places I can see tiny brass formations. The soldering has a pin hole damage, visible only under scrutiny (between the vase body and the square stand only, not right through).
If there is a buyer for it, best is probably to put it through eBay/PayPal, unless the buyer has an agent in New Zealand.
