16"x20" painting(print) of boy with dog

Description I know nothing of this painting except for what little I can find online. It's English, originally done by Arthur Devis in 1790. The title is "Master Simpson". There is a small water mark on it unfortunately. It's a print I think on a textured canvas. Framed with a tag on back. Pattern # 245 D-8 2119 Also another number handwritten 3085 and says "Good companion". It came with other art in a box from an estate auction recently. This is all I know but would like to know more if anyone can tell me.
