Description

 Resembles German  Westerwald salt glaze jugs, similar patterns on jug, and similar cobalt blue glaze to web examples. One appraiser suggests 1780-1820 period.  Has separate wine holding internal vessel, and patterned outer layer is separate, with much hand and stamped work, plus carved lattice like holes through which you cann see the interior vessel. 'Eagle faces' next to spouts have circle beaks that may have had rings, though there is no sign of wear from rings (which no longer exist) mase has lion faces all around.
