1800 Armoire

By lippy, 5 April, 2011
Description

This armoire is from the 1800's.  It  has beveled wood on the inside and outside doors.  It has 2 dawers at the bottom, it has rollers, has a skeleton lock and key place ( key not available), it has been refinished and repaired by a man who had knoledge about antiques.  He told me to get it appraised which I have never done yet.  He begged me not to refinish it but it was ugly and I wanted it to go in my living room.  The original knobs are not available either. The inside of the armoire has been made into an entertainment center with shelves which the man that refinished the armoire,  made it possible to remove the shelfs and right back to it's original armoire closet.  I am looking forward to hopefully recieving a few appraisals.  Depending on the appraisals, I may possibly put the armoire up for sale, thats a mabey.
