Again on the back is the verbiage:

Le Maharajah de Lahore se faisans expliquer les fables de la Fontaine par le general Ventura (Inde)

 

I believe that translates to: something about the Maharajah of Lahore explains to the peasants the fable of the fountain for General Ventura (India)
