Description

Frame size is about 13x11 and mat opening is about 9.5x7. From left to right at bottom of etching it reads " P. Brannon del. et sculp. " then " BONCHURCH, I.W. " then " Pub.d by G. Brannon, Wotton, May 15, 1843 ". Some yellowing/browning but not bad. There is a bubble/rip? on top left of etching and frame looks old and not reframed as the backing is mostly intact. Possible original wire on back as well. All I was able to find out is that George Brannon lived from 1784-1860. I also learned that del et sculp means printer and engraver. I believe the P. Brannon is Phillip. Bonchurch does exist today in W.I. England, I added a photo of it.
