Description

I purchased boxes from an Estate Sale and this is what I came across.

It is an invitation from a Sheriff Thomas L. Ledwith in Jacksonville County, to attend a Private Hanging of a person by the name of "Celia"

Along with the invitation and envelope, is a signed letter of authentication by the estate sellers in June 1947.  See pictures

The Original Estate of which this item came from, says "Nellie Gordon Bledsoe, Collector Of Historical Memorabilia, Member Of The Daughters Of The American Revolution".

If anyone has any other information about this invitation, I would appreciate it.
