Description
Okay this check was written on Oct, 12th 1864 to William Lilly for 225.00. Its from Allentown PA. The Stamp is a beautiful George Washington stamp. The back also has the pay to the order of stamp at munch chunk bank. Over all this check is in very nice condition minus a pin hole in the very center.
That's about where my knowledge ends.. so I was really hoping for some help on the value side. I know Mr. William Lilly was known man in the civil war but nothing else.
Also please note that the check appears wrinkled. It is not it is the plastic keeper it's in.
