Description
In my research on Geo. Schleiffarth I have seen several examples of his compositions but nowhere have I been able to find any pictures, information, or mention of any kind regarding "Blue Cap Waltzes". This also seems to be a few years earlier than any of his other compositions.
1881 sheet music "Blue Cap Waltzes", composed by Geo. Schleiffarth. Near the top of the cover reads "To My Friends MISS LIZZIE MAYER AND HENRY DETMER CHICAGO". Played by the Bauer Band. Arranged for bands by D.S.M.cCosh. Published in Chicago by F.S. Chandler & Co.
