Description

I recently inherited The First Computing Scale from the Computing Scale Company which appears to have been produced in the late 1890's. It is dusty but overall appears in good shape and working order. I have not idea of the value and can find very little information on it. I am trying to get an insurance value and a resale or auction extimated value...

Category General Antiques and Collectibles
Distinguishing marks Has a small round silver tag attached stating "Tested - Sealed - Ohio" front side and "L41" on the backside which I would think is the quality control stamp
Condition Good
Date Period Late 1890's as best I can tell
History Belonged to my great great uncle who was a machinest.
