Re: 1905 B. Shoninger upright piano

The piano is lovely, and your description of the case is great. Since it is a musical instrument firstly, have you examined the current condition now, following the two years ago restoration? The piano has hundreds of parts for each key...hammer, strings, springs, dampers and many more, along with the sound board, action, wires, cast iron plate plus more. Is the condition, now, nearly as mint as a couple of years ago? To what degree has it been played since then, which may have affected the quality of the instrument? Determining these aspects of the piano will be necessary to establish a value. I'm very interested in the information, as I am looking for an old upright piano myself.
