Description
I currently found a Proof Press.
On one side it say The Fremont Press. On the other side it says The Fremont Equipment company. It also says Model A. It has four lil legs and is cast iron mostly. Rust seen on top is limited else where. What is there is surface only. . I found one being sold in a Australian Gallery that was almost exact but it was a different model letter then this one. It was being sold for 550 in their money. It looks similar in design to a Nolan but is NOT a old Nolan. I did some google book search for The Fremont Equipment company and found some dating to around 1929 advertising a portable proof press. I however do not know if this is the same one mentioned. Thank you for your time..
Category Other
Medium Looks like mostly cast iron except for where the letters would go.
