1929 Widdicomb Dressing Vanity

By meeks08, 10 September, 2010
Description

 Greetings!

I have a Widdicomb Dressing Vanity that I am looking to price and potentially sell.  I was interested in speaking with someone regarding an appraisal.  I am attaching several pictures of the vanity, the company insignia, and the stamp located on the bottom of one of the drawers.

The dimensions are as follows:

Vanity -  52 inches long, 19 inches deep, 36 inches high.

Mirror-    49 inches long, 36 inches high

Bench-   17 inches long, 22 inches high

There is a Widdicomb Furniture Company Insignia located on the inside of the left hand drawer.

There are (2) dated stamps-  (1) August 28, 1929  (2) September 19, 1929

And finally a stamp with the word “Gowing.”
