Description
I have a Lane cedar chest that has been in the family. It has very little wear on the feet and VERY minor scratches on the top of lid. I have the original paperwork including the insurance policy against moths. The Style number is 48343X and the Serial number is 041731 (showing date of mfr is 4/17/31 as confirmed with Lane furniture). I can provide pictures. I am looking for any available information on this item as well as an estimated value. Also, is it possible to "fix" the minor wear of scratches without diminishing the value, and if so, how? Just heard back from Lane customer service. They have done their research and are not able to find any history on this particular series/model, only to confirm the mfr date. Really looking to find out anything possible about this piece as well as estimated value. Thank you.
