History
We acquired this Hope Chest from a very sweet lady that was moving to Florida and couldn't take any of her furniture with her. At the time we didn't have anything in our home, so she gave us all that she couldn't take with her. Other than that we don't know much about the chest.

How do I get an appraisal on here, and how do I know when someone tells me how much it is worth?

Re: 1940's Roos Sweetheart Cedar Chest

Currently I see cedar chests by Roos and Lane similar to this one selling for less than $150.00 at auction, $300.00 in the antique shops if in very good condition.
