Description My grandfather hand crafted a wood stand for it, and made a note on the bottom of the stand. It reads: "Baby Spitfire .045 displacement model engine Anderson MFG co. USA. Used 6" dia. x "2 pitch propeller. Given to Robert Garms by parents, Christmas, 1946. Purchased in San Angelo, Texas for $7.50 or $9, depending on which parent you asked. Present included a c/l [control line] model kit with control handle and lines. Engine and stand given to Seth Meyers for birthday in 2010." The tiny, delicate needle valve that controls the fuel mixture is broken off, but I still have it.
