1950s Italian Figural Ceramic Lamp

By bleubird, 30 December, 2008
Description

This lamp was given to me to research for a friend's mother.  She & her husband believed they purchased this figural lamp sometime in the 1950s.  The lamp is made of painted ceramic and the base is numbered and marked, F/405B/P or could be F/Y05B/P and Base Made In Italy.  The ceramic figure measures 18 1/2 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches wide at the base.  The entire lamp measures about 32 3/4 inches tall from the base to the top of the finial.  The actual finial 'cap' is missing and there are some chipped areas, however the lamp is in good working condition.  Would like to know approx. value and would consider offers.
