lady I bought it from had bought her house in the 60's and it was there when she bought it. Then I purchased it a week ago. It does have an old asset sticker for the Tiffany Davis Drug company.

Your shade is what's referred to as "Slag Glass", most of these are reproductions of late Victorian examples, but made during the 1970's. Some are older, but it is impossible to determine without actually examining the piece. Most do sell in he $30.00- $65.00 range.
