I have a 1965 R. G. Hathcock Oil on Canvas Seascape Painting that is framed. The painting is in good condition, and measures 14 1/2 inches x 29 1/2 inches. I do not know the name of the painting.
I have some knowledge of the artist, R. G. Hathcock, aka Jerry Hathcock. Jerry Hathcock (1911-1987) was a cartoon producer working with Disney and Hanna Barbara from 1934 until he retired in 1977. He is a 1985 Golden Award winner (Motion Picture Screen Cartoonist Award).
He is known for his western themed paintings, two of which I can find information on line about. One of which was sold by Cowan's Auction House on 11-09-09, an 11 x 14 titled "Herding Cattle" which realized a price of $323.13, and a 16 x 24 titled "When Winter Comes" which realized a price of $646.00.
I hope you can help me find out the value of the paiting.

Aside from giving general information and researching past values by the artist at auction, which you have already done very well, there is Iittle to nothing anyone here can be of assistance with. You really need to get the piece looked at in person by a qualified gallery.
