1970's Nordco Marketeer 3 Wheel Cart

By olyolson, 19 September, 2012
Description

This is a 1970's model Nordco Marketeer. This is very rare and you won't find anything like this out there on the Internet. I am looking for a 4 Wheel Gas golf cart, specifically a Yamaha in great running condition for a straight trade. I will consider any other trade items valued at $2000 or higher. Below are some cool facts about this cart:

- 36 Volt System via (3) Marine batteries with included charger
- Working Head, Tail, and Break Lights
- It has an International Air Horn on top (see picture) and is very loud
- It has a car alarm and horn setup with a push button to make all sorts of crazy noises
- Truck bed with tailgate and diamond plate tool box in back
- Bench seat inside
- Windshield wiper that works (needs new wiper rubber replaced)
- Glass windshield and rear window. Also has removable side window covers for winter storage
- Custom green paint job with silver flames
- Set up with a ball for towing any small trailer
- Top speed is around 12MPH an overnight charge lasts a long time

History
These type of carts were called Marketeer;s because they were originally invented for driving to the market economically. They were also used at most airports in the 70's to pull baggage carts. I have done my research on this item and there is nothing out there like it as most of these went to scrap due to 3 wheeled vehicles having such major manufacturing restrictions in the late 70's and early 80's.
