1985 Edwin M Knowles Collector Plate from "The King and I", 1st in series, # 8837 B "A Puzzlement"

Description

I have a 1985 original Edwin M Knowles collector plate of "A PUZZLEMENT" by William Chambers I would like appraised.  This is the first issue in "The King and I" series.  This is the only collectors plate series officially authorized by the estates of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II to commemorate their contribution to American Musical Theatre.  Painted exclusively for this imited edition by William Chambers on fine china by  Edwin M Knowles and strictly limited to a firing period not to exceed one hundred fifty firing days.  

Released and signed by Dorothy Rodgers ad Dorothy Blanchard Hammerstein.

This plate is in excellent condition.  Still framed in the plate frame from the company ordered by.  Sticker from company on back of plate:  Sider's Collectibles and Fine Gifts (408) 264-6545 is still on the back of the plate.  No chips or cracks in plate.  Frame has a gold trim that has some scratches.  Plate is signed by William T Chambers on the front.
