the item was made in 1985 .they are so rare because they were banned from the nba in 1985 michael jordan recieved a $5,000 fine everytime her wore them they were appraised in 1998 for $3800 i recently seen they were $4000. i inherited them from my father they have never been worn or laced

2 pair on Ebay right now. Same as yours, new, never laced etc. 1 with box. Check it out. Your price may be right but watch the ones online to see what people actually will pay.
