Description

I did a little research on the website call www.925-1000.com which is a online encyclopedia of silver marks, hallmarks & makers' marks. There I found documents that possibly proves the information of the item that I own is authentic, which is a silver jewelry box from the 19thC.

Silver, but I also read about a rare metal, extracted first in the 1817 from zinc ores and it called cadmium
Distinguishing marks
there are three attributed pseudo-marks & known trademarks of the Hanau silver industry

History
J.D. Schleissner was the founder of one of Hanau silver manufacturers and the item was give to me as a gift from a friend
