2 Antique Lamps one possible Handel?

By darrinc, 2 June, 2008
Description

Both lamps were inherited so I don't know much about them except that they are beautiful and old.The metal shade one has a turn key on the top for adjusting it to different heights. i first thought they were candle stick holders till I noticed the holes inside of the holders for wires. The other lamp I was told by a friend is most likely a Handel but I am unsure and I don't even know what material it is. There seems to be some kind of stones or desighed metal pieces along the colum other then the possible brass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much and God Bless.
