9ft Antique Sofa with detailed carved wood frame including Swan/Peacock

Description

Large Antique sofa with ornate detailed wood-carved frame.  Also has a matching 5-1/2 ft  love-seat. 

Scratched & definitely needs new upholstery

Would like to know what period it came from.  & Style (Victorian? French Provincial? ) About how much it would be worth, etc.

Carvings are of some sort of bird (swan or peacock?)along with design details. 

Any information you could give would be great.

Did you ever find anything about this couch? I have a couch and chair that are somewhat similar, thought do not seem to be as victorian as yours.  Mine are peacock that appear to be hand carved.  Guggenheim perhaps.

These actaully date from the 1920's and are not Victorian as many people assume. The bulk of the carving is done by machine.
