Greetings,
Recently picked this up at a garage sale for my wife. She adores it, but I'm curious as to the history and the maker. It looks like it has been updated with a varnish of some type. There is only one distinguished marking, the number 8140 which makes me beleive this was manufactured in a factory by machine. Any information on it would be amazing and thanks in advanced. :)
