Alexander Backer Statue and stand

I have this EXACT statue in bronze!  I am in the process of trying to find the artist, and came across this site.  Is there anything further you can tell me on the artist?  Mary

My grandmother bought this same statue from a shop in Rome Ga. 50 yrs ago. The pedestal is much

larger.She always said it was Esther from the biblical story.My sister says it is Ruth because she was the

one who followed Naomi after her husband died.Also from the biblical story.I do not know if either one of

them is correct.I still have the statue.I was with her when she bought it.I do not know who the artist was.
