This Alfred Meakin bowl has been in the family at least 70 years - we'd like to know its background and value please ?

Mark on base is Alfred Meakin England around a crown - no Ltd

There are 2 gold marks in the lid - looks like '954' ? '354' - could be letters -

and on the base and looks like '37' ?
