This is a Purple (amethyst) glass vase. I don't believe it is 'Amethyst Glass but
looks very close to it.

Glassware like this is known as "Carnival Glass" after the type of glassware typically given away as Carnival Midway prizes during the early years of the 20th Century. It has been extensively reproduced since the 1970's. No big for the reproductions, most go for under $20.00 these days.

That does not appear to be carnival glass at all.
