Description American Waltham pocket watch with Keystone CaseThis watch worked about fifteen years ago when I received it, but stopped shortly thereafter. There is a hairline crack on the watch face. other than that, the case seems to be in very nice condition. Movement serial: 6754869; Case serial:2616393. i don't know the exact weight, but it feels like 2 or 3 ounces. The watch has a gold color, though I don't know it's exact make up. It does not show 14k or any karat measurement.

If there is no marking indicating precious metal content, then the case is likely rolled gold or plated. The serial number indicates a date around 1897. There are always quite a few of these for sale on ebay http://search.reviews.ebay.com/Waltham-Watch Lovejoy
