History
Anaconda American Brass Co. aka Anaconda Copper Mining Co. was established in 1881 in Butte, Montana box may have been used by miners or production workers also may have been used in WW1 or WW2 by soilders to carry large quantities of ammo or personal items. Bought at antique retailer in Tampa, FL in 1979 for $300.00. I have done a lot of research on this item and company it came from but still can't base its use or signifigance.
