Description
I have an old typewritten letter describing the history of the scissors. The chain of ownership is reliable. The scissors were owned by president Andrew Johnson, They were given to a Mr. T.R. Rudd who apprarently learned the trade of tailor in the shop where Andrew Johnson worked, in Greenville, TN. T.R. Rudd gave them to my grandfather J.M. Drummond of Arkansas, in 1900. They have been in the family ever since.
