Description
My wife bought these chairs from someone who spray painted one of the chairs and removed some of the original gild which was laid on top of gesso and quickly realized she was out of her depth. Anyway, the chairs were stuffed with hay and burlap cushions which my wife has preserved. Anyway, we believe these chairs are possibly 19th Century Baroque, but we are not experts and wanted to see if we can find out more and whether they are worth restoring. Chair is 45" tall, 25" widest at back and seat, legs 12", arms 31".
