Antique Buffet with stained glass hutch

By sswicky, 10 March, 2010
Description

This was given to me when my parents re-did their home in modern furnishings. They bought this piece at an out-of-town antique market over 20 years ago. I never use the stained glass hutch so it's been well taken care of and stored in the basement. There is a light strip behind the stained glass so when you plug it in it lights up beautifully. As you can see, I use the buffet piece as an entertainment center. The buffet does need a little work as a tongue and groove piece is missing on the lower left side and the pull on the front drawer has been stripped (as seen here). I'm not really invested in the piece so it doesn't make sense for me to spend the time to fix these things myself if I'm just going to sell it. I want to offer it up to someone for less than it's worth that might be able to better restore it themselves and make a good home for it.
