Description

Antique Burl Wood three legged side table.  Hand carved features, and hand fitted assembly.  Possibly from Thailand in 1800, although could be European.  26" high by 19" diameter.

 

Condition overall is very good for it's age.  The top has a crack between 2 sections of the burl, and there is a watermark that could probably be easily removed.

History My wife bought this table from a small dealer in Italy, and she believes it is from Thailand in the 1800's, although she is not sure and it could be from Europe. The top is a beautiful tri-lobe design made from some type of burl wood. The construction looks rough enough that I believe the age is correct, and the carved details are certainly made by hand.
