Not sure if this is a Hutch, Buffet, Cabinet, or? My German Mother-In-Law called it a Shrunk. The carvings are not German but either Japanese, Chinese, or Asian.
My husband's father purchased this in the 1970's from someone who brought it from Hawaii. So we are not sure how old it is. I have searched to the ends of the internet trying to find more information, I did find similar carvings on an antique chest claiming to be a post WWII antique.
Any help would be appreciated as to it's worth, we are interested in selling at some point.
