History
I received the bell from my father-in-law's estate in 1979. He was a collector of antique farm equipment and acquired most of his collection from auctions and estates sales. no one really where or when he purchased the bell. I have verified with Prindle Station Bells that is not C.S. Bell Co

These bells used to be a hot item in the 1980's, and Pickers all over the country were climbing old churches, school houses and barns in the dead of night to get them. The demand led to reproductions to fill the demand, which causeg values to eventually crash. Now these bells often sell at auction for under $100.00.

Thanks Lovejoy, I think I'd have a higher value if it were C.S. Bell Co because they are better identified and easier to date. But thanks $100 sounds about right
